Security

Israel is very safe country to travel, and country takes security seriously. At Tirosh Expeditions, safety is our number one priority. We will brief participants regularly concerning the security arrangements and guidelines each day. Our guides are highly trained, fluent in local languages, familiar with the entire country, and travels with the group at all times. Much of the program takes place in rural areas, away from designated borders. Many popular tourist sites are in the desert, by the sea or in the mountains. We do not travel to area governed by Palestinian Authority, or places such as Gaza, we will not visit any area or drive roads deemed unsafe by Israel Authorities. Participants are not recommended or encouraged to travel without the group, nor visit with Israel on their own during the tour.
